বিএনপি চেয়ারপারসন ও সাবেক প্রধানমন্ত্রী খালেদা জিয়ার বিপক্ষে কোনো প্রার্থী দেবে না জাতীয় নাগরিক পার্টি (এনসিপি)। মঙ্গলবার দলটির মুখ্য সমন্বয়ক নাসীরুদ্দীন পাটওয়ারী গণমাধ্যমকে এ তথ্য জানিয়েছেন।
আসন্ন ত্রয়োদশ জাতীয় সংসদ নির্বাচনকে সামনে রেখে বিএনপি সোমবার ২৩৭টি আসনে প্রাথমিক প্রার্থী তালিকা ঘোষণা করেছে। সে তালিকা অনুযায়ী ফেনী-১, দিনাজপুর-৩ এবং বগুড়া-৭ আসনে প্রার্থী হয়েছেন খালেদা জিয়া। বিএনপির এই ঘোষণা প্রকাশের একদিন পরই এনসিপির পক্ষ থেকে জানানো হলো, এসব আসনে তারা কোনো প্রার্থী দেবে না।
